		<description>well ... for one thing .... i believe heretic is a dos based game as i remember playing it when i was a kid .... so i guess Heretic Kingdoms is also Dos Based...

One thing you should know is that Vista does not support dos based programs (mostly games) ... believe me ive tried my level best too in order to play some of my favourite classic dos games but to no avail.....

One solution there might be is a Dos Emulator.....
although i did download one sometime ago ... i however didnt try it ..... 
so search on google.com for a Dos Emulator .... you might find some good ones with comlete instructions as to how to run it..... in the meantime ill try to search one too....

right click for options
then click on run in 98/XP compatibilty mnode
check all other options execpt the first one 
thats it ur good to go
