Heres what u need to do to run GTA San Andreas on your PC
There are 3 alternatives
- First, try changing the compatibility mode of the .exe file to windows XP, or just fiddle around with the many options to get it to work. Remember to set the “Run as administrator” option in the file. If this doesnt work try step 2 below.
- Mostly the Vista program COM Surrogate automatically shuts down .exe files as it sees them as sources of harm on your PC, this is not so. So, first u gotta allow your GTA_SA.exe file to be allowed by the DEP(Data Execution Prevention) Program to allow it to work. This can be done as follows :
- Go to Computer
- Click on System Properties
- Then click on the Advanced System Settings tab on the left .
- The system properties tab will open
- Click on the Settings tab under Performance
- Then click on the Data Execution Prevention tab in the new performance options tab
- Select the 2nd option and simply add the .exe file of GTA to the list , mak sure that it is ticked.
- Apply changes .
- Restart
- If all of the above do not work for you the simply goto youtube and type GTA SA Vista and you should get a lot of videos teling you other alternatives. The whole point of looking at these videos is that GTA SA does not have a single specific problem on vista. You can see the videos and see what problem u areĀ facing
If all of the above also do not work for you then God Help You!!!!
A last reminder , make sure your computer is properly equipped to handle the game otherwise there is no point in running it.
